These pages highlight my finished necklaces,
made with many styles and techniques. They include my own lampworked
beads, fused pieces, wire wrapping, woven seed beads, occasional natural
stones and cold worked copper and silver. __________________________________________ This first set of pages show one family of
necklaces I have done, consisting of my lampworked beads highlighted
by seed beads. Whether the seed beads are woven or used simply to carry
the feel of the bead throughout the necklace, they are one of the favorite
"pigments" on my palette. |

A hollow lampwork bead, sterling silver wire, and woven seed beads. 2 hollow lampwork beads, sterling silver wire, and woven seed beads. Lamwork bead and woven seed beads. Pendant size is approximately 1.25" x 1.25", on a 16" sterling silver snake chain. 6 lampwork beads, sterling silver beads, seed beads, and a sterling silver clasp. The lampwork beads are .75" across, and the necklace is 16" long. The lampwork bicone is 1.125" long (a smidge bigger than an inch) and is done with ivory glass, silver leaf, and transparent glass in several colors. This is a 3 strand necklace with a sterling silver clasp, and it is 18" long. |
